Bio

Who I am and why you would want to hire me in a nutshell.

After graduating The Art Institute of Houston in 1983, with a BA in Advertising Design, I never looked back. It's been a wild ride through changes, as computers became the tool of choice, which I grasped and conquered since their very beginning. I was in the printing sector for some time, corporations, small ad agencies, larger ad agencies, defense contractors, the music & entertainment industry, trade show design house, publishers and most recently, church marketing. At each position along the way I left a mark of excellence and accomplishment. I have always been the most dedicated employee and was the last to leave when it came to completing a mission. I have produced thousands of logos, brochures and a myriad of printed pieces along the way.

What I know without doubt is that I have an uncanny ability to create great designs and am always the first to jump in the trenches when ANY other tasks are required. I am not above anyone else. Teams are what it's all about and my goal to be in a winning team producing award-winning products day after day.

I have directed and guided groups of designers, copywriters and photographers in unison to create effective branding and advertising campaigns. I like to facilitate an open stream of ideas — picking the best one to go forward. After 25 years in Design and Marketing, I can safely say I am still learning every day. The ever-changing advertising landscape DEMANDS this to each and all who remain committed to this industry. I am deeply committed.

Why would you want to hire me? Because I'm the real deal. What you see is what you get. That is: Design that is POV: Passionate, Omnipotent, Versatile. I am driven to giving 110% and am committed to following marketing trends and ALWAYS learning. I am also the most loyal person you'll ever meet when it comes to holding the company high in hand. I am a winner. I like to work with winners.
